Cozy Half Double Crochet Scarf

Materials

• Yarn: about 300 yards of worsted (4) yarn
• Hook: 5.0 mm (H-8)
• 5.0 mm hook
• Yarn needle
• Scissors

Abbreviations (US terms)

• ch: chain
• hdc: half double crochet
• sl st: slip stitch

Instructions

1. Chain 22.
2. Row 1: Hdc in the 3rd chain from the hook and in each chain across (20 hdc).
3. Row 2: Chain 2 (does not count as a stitch), turn, hdc in each stitch across.
4. Repeat Row 2 until the scarf measures about 60 in (152 cm), or your preferred length.
5. Fasten off, cut the yarn, and weave in both ends with the yarn needle.
